What if?

EVO38

It Would Have Been This! The Kimera EVO38 cannot really be defined as a restomod car; rather, it is a further extremism of this philosophy, more similar to a ‘one-off’ even if produced in very limited numbers (this time it will be produced in a limited edition of 38 units), that is born ultra-sporty and which, from its noble progenitors, acquires the strong inspiration that permeates its DNA, shaping itself to their own image and likeness, becoming its universal heir.

Unlike the EVO37, the “38” becomes integrale (the Italian term for all-wheel drive). Differently from its noble progenitors, the four-wheel-drive system is realized through a modern and sophisticated repartition control and electro-hydraulic differential lock, making it the Ultima Evoluzione.

The chassis has been totally revised with a modern four-wheel push-rod shock absorber scheme and significant weight reduction and increased torsional stiffening. The mechanicals have been highly refined for World Rally Car performance.

The styling of the EVO38 becomes more contemporary and provides a characterful presence, with more decisive and defined lines and a technical package of extraordinary excellence, well representing the cultural continuity and know-how of which Kimera Automobili is an ambassador, further consolidating this beautiful Italian entrepreneurial fairytale, which seems to recall adventures of bygone times, but which our country is still capable of forging, carrying on this culture to be born as its Universal Heir.

“I decided not to work with my family, to follow my own path, to be a race car driver. Keeping My Road. The initials were K-M-R and thus, KIMERA was born. In mythology, it is a lioness with the horns of a ram, the tail of a serpent and the wings of an eagle. In Italian it also takes on the meaning of “endless dream”, which does not always have a positive allusion. But for me it is, because dreaming is the most beautiful way of living and my life could not be otherwise.”
